Wide awake is my soul

Wide awake are my eyes

maybe never to close

Wide awake is my body

Wide awake is my brain

Wide awake are my thoughts

only calmed by the rain

Is it possible to ever sleep

such strange hours that I now keep

Sleep during the day to be up at night

don't mind it at all, not putting up a fight

The night is electric
The night she is magic
The night she is calm
The night she is tragic
