The Devil In Me

Dance with the devil and devil may care

Astride the stallion of tortured pride

Defeat the misery of inner sleep

Kicking out with a tattered soul

Torn out the energy on this eclectic rider's back

It's time to counter attack.

Whizzing round I hear your sound

The breath of lust

I was wrong to trust

So silent and aware

You stand there violent in despair

I'm something other than what they see

The tree of life begins and ends with me

I harness myself with insecurity

Within a strong voice lives a scary place, they seem so desperate to embrace

His pools of melted chocolate bittersweet

Evoke the madness in me

A laugh souless that holds no joy

Waiting yet to be taken into your employ

I paint with deceptive words, I maim with prose

I deliberate, then take my pose

Astounding vision,Elaborated silence

Pretend to be something

Emulate the silence.

Dance with the devil and devil may care

But

We

Know

He

May

Not

It's up to you,What choice have you got?

Hi. Me again!
I like the internal rhyme scheme. It adds so much to this. In a sense in displays the meanings, hidden within the words, hidden within the woman.
My thoughts are of illusion, desperate and convincing illusion, but desirous none-the-less.
Yet, wonder seeps beneath the closed lids of fixated mind with a query and its answer, both deeper than the beauty and sensuality.
Who are you? Just let me in, for I wish to know.

Well, no one can ever accuse you of writing anything boring.
I like this place. It allows for a special freedom not always available within the open forums of EZBoard.

I would always want the dance. :) Tim
