// Type A//

A touch of saturated red

from raven born and mother given

with the beauty of speed,

slow that heart, curb your taste for it

unspoken and knowing there’s a trick to laughter stripped to the bone.

Unstoppable light, pounding out rhythms of attraction.

Our dominant genes settle into calling out names,

but taking nothing for keeping.

Off leash,

elixir simmer down, you’re ready to boil and quick to spill.

Nature always gets her way,

suffering through steady reforms of small kinds,

and printing narrow tattoos

like mile markers at dead ends.

Set free on the head of a pin,

deep in the swords rusting velour

the fruit of the world’s ripeness,

far outside the boundaries,

is thin lit at noon and building

from the scratched copper.

Skin flooded with darker streams reflecting a beacon within.

Eyes that awaken on a thorn’s release,

pure of science is my unknown origin,

of one art untouchable .

Great word choice.

Great word choice. It's funny, your vocabulary reminds me of my little brother's. It's something I've always been jealous of him for.
