Sometimes the feeling goes away

But it always comes back

I don't know why you didn't stay

Or why my life is off track.



Just seems to me, so real

That you're still here

I often dream, your hand I feel

As I think you are near.



Thoughts left my soul to bleed

I want you here with me

It's something I need

But it will never be.



You were suffering in pain

So I guess afterall, it's okay

The Lord took you and slain

I'm just sad you couldn't stay.



I miss you without all heart

I'm just sad you had to go

In my heart, we'll never part

But, I still miss you more than you know.
