My father

Folder:
Religous

Sitting quietly

I wonder how I ever doubted

You were by my side

I turned from you

With stubborn pride

Determined to face my demons

By my self and no one else

It wasn’t till I fell so far down

I couldn’t see the sky

That I came to you

My pride shattered on the ground

I asked you for your help

You took my burdens away

Leaving me free to smile

Know everyday I live

Knowing that whatever troubles I face

You’ll be right there to lend a hand

All I have to do is ask

I really like this.
It's a really good poem and thanks for what you told me.
This is short, but to the point.
It's very true, I just wish I could relate to it more..
