We're just

Running scared 

Controlled by fear
Unwilling to learn

Yet all too willing

To keep pointing 
Fingers and placing

The blame 
On everyone else
But ourselves
Because lets
Face it
Taking responsibility

Is something
We have never 
Really been
All that good at
Not when 
There is 
A whole wide world
Of people we can
Blame and 
Bitch about 
Instead
A clean slate

Is what we need
A chance 
To start over

To get it right
But since we can't 
Have anything
Remotely 
Like that
We must do
With what
We have

Stand up
Speak out

For and start doing
What is right
For once in 

History
And stop getting
Hung up

On all the things
We just don't

Understand
And for once
Learn from
Those things

To make the world
A better place

But what we do

So get with it

Society
