PRAYER AND SUPPLICATION TO EARTH







Who has turned us around like this, so to always perceive threats?

Dominino theories, threats of terrorism, and perpetual boogie men

Keep us in need of high security alerts and constant monitoring.



Rome was an armed camp as it fell and Caesar sent word that the

Barbarians could stand ten miles outside of the city but come no

Closer; nevertheless, encroachment continues to dog civilizations.



The prodigal son was content to have his father’s inclusiveness even

If it meant to live with the pigs but the human family always wants

To exploit divisions of caste, creed and brothers against brothers.



Earth, we have chosen you to be our home.  Earth, my dearest, your

Children are in need of urgent transformation; it is not man who

Guides your destiny for it has already raped you as a young maiden.



I know you will not allow us to remain a planet of sorrows; you must

Have scanned your future to see the end of this sad duration and will

Lead us out of sad laments; you must have a cure for our turbid infusions.



Conflict is our nature, oh earth. Our prayer and supplication is to save

Us from our self; we started in one of your paradisial gardens and long

For a return to the dynamic of that harmony.  Please, hear us, oh earth.
