THE GAMBLER
There is a gambler in each of us;
Even the best of nest builders chance
Their fledglings to fall from trees.
Movie stars like Marylin Monroe and Elvis
Would rather leave a good looking corpse
Than have fate preserve their fame.
Most would risk playing Russian Roulette
With a long shot than suffer the ignominy
Of a life lived out in the shadows
When the beloved comes, why not bet
Everything? We bet and sometimes lose
And the house ends up with our head
The gambler in us abandons home security
In order to live near the rip tides. It’s O.K.
A night near the living sea is worth it.
I like to live near danger as a boy; tempting
Fate is to cheat the reaper before I die.
Martyrs bet everything they have for immortality.
They say;"Life is a great Gambling.
God is the great Gambler."
Where r we here,God or Life?
Thats our dice to be thrown.
As both r one,we had won.
No war,no tricks.
Here eyes needs to opened.
The casino is with-in.
All people are ours,
No way to lose,
No need to win.
Say;Life is a great gabmling.
And we r all the great gamblers.
Who is there to throw my dice,
I myself has to,Sometime or other!
You yourself has to,Sometime or other!
Thanx for the poem,Friend.
Great work as always.
