Ferry

When the waves of bountless woes,
Strain the nerves in countless ways,
By the river I wait in vain,
For the ferry that brings you near.

Sun has made the sandy bank,
A searing bed that burns the bones,
But my spirit has brought me strength,
To weather the storm and blazing sun.

Like the herbs that heal all ills,
You make me ever feel so well,
Never the heart can bear its loss,
For the love is real and deep.

Just read your poems, they

Just read your poems, they are some of the best I have read on here. I like poem's that one can understand, but beautiful at the same time, otherwise what's the point in reading them? Your's are exactly right, in my eyes anyway.
