I found a piece of myself today
A fragment from the past that used to be beautiful
That piece of me radiated with life and warmth
That piece of me was a bright, sparkling gem
It brought inspirations flowing from a happy heart
Shining and smiling with love
Words were stringed together, pretty as a picture
That piece of me was so vibrant.
Lately, the days are dark and dull
Like yesterday and the day before
It was a good thing that I found this piece of me now
To shatter the calmness of a boring spiral
Tomorrow, I will search a little more
Because I want to feel alive and beautiful.
