I opened my eyes

And I saw nothing

But Darkness

Surrounding me



It was all around

Me

Engulfing

Me



I didn't know

Where I was

Or why

I was there



I had no thoughts

No ideas

Nothing

Plain nothing



Yet it wasn't unpleasant

No, it was rather

Warm

And cuddly



It aroused to me

An unexplainable

Yet quite familiar

Feeling



Something

I've

Felt

Before



And then

Without knowing

Without Understanding

It became clear



I heard that

Familiar

And soothing

Heartbeat



Beating

Solely

For

Me



And eventhough

I was in darkness

Blind with

Nothing,



I knew

I was

Quite

Safe



I was in

Someone's

Arms

Held close



To his

Heart



And forever

Will I be there

In his

Soothing darkness
