Because my heart tells me so

Together like the moon

In the sky with darkness glows



We are still together

Because I feel that I am yours

And I know you feel it too

Even if in confusion you're devoured...



We are still together

Because our paths our tied with string

Like the tangles in the forest

Nothing breaking them from their roots.



We are still together

Because I know your love is true

Even though you say we're not

I know you know the truth...



We are still together

Because something isn't right

I know we were so happily

In each other's arms.



We are still together

Because our souls are one

And though departure we may try,

Collision will come again.



We are still together

Because destiny says it so

I feel it in my bones tremble

You know yours tremble my name too

Because even if I cannot understand

Even if you say we're through,

I know you still think of me.



We are still together

Because I know it does not end here

I just know there's many more to write

In this novel of our life.



Tell me we're still together

Tell me this is true

Don't tell me that love is lost

Don't tell me any excuse...



Tell me we're still together

Tell me you feel it true

Don't tell me future doesn't permit us

Because the future isn't there yet



Let the future come to us

We have the present to prepare

We can fight the inevitable

They will never dare.
