Everything that I wanted to hear

Were the words that left your lips

Held to my heart, oh so dear

Until I began to notice the slips.



Around me my worlds threaten to crumble

I held it up with what said

But the truth again wouold force me to stumble

And soon I felt as though I was dead.



In a world of lies is where I begin

However it is not where I reside

I closed my eyes and looked deep within

And found what's true inside.



I let you in and you trashed my place

But I really truly can't blame you

I gave you the key to my space

So I'm to blame for all you do.
