Homeless

Without a place to call my home

Nowhere to lay my head

Tired of the endless roam

Craving Sanctuary before I'm dead

Thinking of where I have been, places

That all fail the test

Thinking of people I have seen, faces

Which lose their interest

On the road I trail along

At times by myself, never alone

Motivated by a deeper song

To find a place I call my own.

Breathlessly beautiful! You have given words to the thoughts of many who are unable to express their feelings. Adorable way to write.

Everybody searches for their place in this world. It is just bred within us to want to fit in somewhere. May your search lead you to a place of joy and infinite possiblity. Stay strong and may you find love, peace, and prosperity. Great poem!
