Love Poem to Jody

Folder:
Love of my Life

Watching you exit the shower is such a thrill,

After all these years, you are sexy still.

My thoughts drifts to when it all began,

You a beautiful woman and me a virile young man.

Now here in our senior years

I become anxious when you aren't near.

The sound of your voice that reassures,

Your touch, that has so much alure.

I watch and smile as you look up at me,

As you wonder at what I see,

I can only tell you this,

All I ever see is that young miss,

The one I married at sweet nineteen,

The prettiest woman I had ever seen.

Over the years, you will always be,

That sweet nineteen year old that married me.
