Writing makes me think hard

Of what appropriate words to use

To describe a picture fit for a frame, or

To tell a story about what happens everyday

In our own lives and in the lives of others

That may affect us, good or bad.



Writing is one way of keeping me sane

With the help of reading, watching and observing

Of what is going on around me, makes me understand

Just as listening from others, helps me to comprehend

Some practical lessons that I yet have to learn

Then apply them in every possible way I can.



Writing stimulates my faculty of thinking

In words that compounded my daily thoughts

Here in my heart these words quietly embed

My feelings and wishes that I long want to share

To the kindred folks, who, just like me,

Have passion in literal consummation.



Writing is my kind of joy

A halo of my imagination and emotion

The aura of my simple delight and desire

A whimsical flair that warrants my mood

Writing is my own pet to care

Albeit, plucky in my aim and intent.
