Words' Affair

Folder:
Haiku/Word Play

My soul dare not, I bare?

My heart should I bare to share?

My life will I share to spare?

My mind bares the dare of my soul

that my eyes can see what I share

hence my mouth will speak what I spare!

The mouth that speaks so well and clear

Of words my heart minds my affair

quietly and soberly let them all enter

to the altar of prose and vow in prayer.

Affections tie in knot so dear

Passion of words in time defer

Emotions fly the sparks forever

Transcend to music for ears to hear!

I truly appreciated your kind words on my piece you critiqued. This is an excellent piece of yours. It is the soul on paper. The lover of words most do not understand but to take a word with metaphoric image and display the soul written is indeed a gift!
