City Escape....

Write-Ups

Early this afternoon, when I was in the library, the download was at snail pace. I requested for a thirty minutes extension and I was very lucky to be granted.

My time was only consumed by downloading and nothing much to do, just read here and there. Then went to work. Work? Yes, only for three hours.

That was another travelling time consuming, travelling you know. Just travel and did nothing except that I brought home bags of vegetables. At least there is something for me to cook at home for my good health.

Then I went to play games in my home computer. The village was so quiet. Nobody would hush anybody as the tweetering friends won't shut up!

I left the cats after feeding them with the instruction that they should behave while I am gone. Poor little darling. To think Halle is preggy and anytime she will lay eggs... eggs?

I feel bored at home. This is my first time to be on my own at this time of year. I really should get used to it by now. I thought I welcome this freedom from oppression of being the homestay all the time.

Anyway, I strolled the lane and what a deafening silence that greeted me on the street where I live. No single in sight. Well, I saw one car going on the farther end of the other side of the road visible from my walking path.

Then the car park parallel to the railway station looked ghoulish too! I went up the ramp and there was only one man keeping the boring duty of vending tickets. Lucky him because he got a phone to vent his boredom in that solitary confinement of his.

Then I sent text to my friend. She rang back that she is coming down to the city from Canberra. Ah, that is our national capital.

So tonight, is the night. We will have dinner when her bus will finally dock at the bay. I am not sure where we are going. This is not planned!

Now I am not going to feel lonely. Probably, we might go to see the Carol by Candlelight somewhere in Darling Harbour.

Have a blessed year folks! See you when I come back!

afsal, since this is my first come back, please give me time to dust off the cobwebs first, settle down and study each of my readers and then I should be well on the way to commenting. Please be patient. I do need to refresh myself. Thank you again.
