YOUTH POWER

It is a known facts
Its imperative can not be part
egg shall turn to cock
soon piglet shall becomes pork

Garbage in, garbage out
says computer terminology
proper preparation
prevents poor performance

It is a known facts
Its imperative can not be part
adults shall be ripped
and sow shall be reaped

But It's a funny honey
to achieve the vision and the mission
Kitten copycat the Cats
and wearing their shoes

What would be its tomorrow
when its chickens are misguided
sorry, a moribund succession
tomorrow in the hand of youth.

Author's Notes/Comments:

This poem is explaining how a country will be should they planned their future well and trained their youths for a better tomorrow as they will filled the post and drive the country aftermath.

A Ghanian once told me, "Nigeria has oil" I thought that odd, but we know so little of African nations to comment. Humans progress slowly. Fact. It takes generations to build and sustain the wealth of a nation. Fact. Poverty will always be with many nations. Fact. The youth grow up, learn the same way of running "things" as those who teach them and change (as an envisioned bright future) is hampered. I liked this poem for its skillful presentation. I liked the hope painted. I look into the eyes of USA youth and see something else ~Lady A~
