Never have I felt so lonely as I dont tonight

Never have I felt so helpless as I do with this lack of light

Once the stars shined so bright

Now I just hope that everything will be alright



We had plans for forever; things we would do together

We had a plan to travel the whole world over

Whe knew our love would die

Just like the luck in the four leaf clover



We stuck it through; tried to make it work

Guess we never prepared our hearts for how much the distance would hurt

Never did I imagine that it would end so fast

I thought that if we wanted it, forever it could last



It did not end because of me

I would have held on and would have waited patiently

But I guess you couldnt handle all the pain

I guess you couldnt take the rain



Ironic how the world works

Doesnt care if you are hurt

It keeps on moving just the same

It doesnt even try to stop the rain



Never have I felt so lonely as I do tonight

I look out the window at the rain pouring down

I realize in that moment that you are not there..

and hear only silence surround....
