Snagging ducats for the Dead at Giants Stadium and thinking back to the show there last year.  That one was one of the classic anecdotes that many people still don’t believe.  It makes me want to tell the tale even more since it’s so unreal.

I had my soap bubble confiscated by the security guards.  No one seems to know why.  Maybe they were afraid I dosed the bubbles with liquid LSD.  I really can’t say.  Maybe they thought I would be secretly dosing people by blowing bubbles on them.  Maybe they were worried that soap would get in someone’s eyes.

I suppose it is good to know in this day and age of rampant crime and destruction that Byrne International was able to prevent a soap bubble welding madman like me from getting his wares into a stadium full of unsuspecting concertgoers.  I know I’ll sleep better at now knowing all this.

but in any case

bubbles won’t float in night air

soap gets in your eyes
