in front of an audience;

mostly college kids

and I noticed the crowd

almost entirely younger than me

I mean, I know,

I dig Bukowski

but I don’t want

to feel like him just yet

at the tender age

of 29

I don’t wanna feel

like a grandpa

to all these little kids
