sometimes

when I decide
to be a dick

I learn a lot

about other folk

politically incorrect

cultural insensitive mode

comes into play

an offhand comment

about Kensington whores

induces knowing nods

but chatter

reveals accents

and we get Philly grit

and London cool

and Aussie drawl

a working class section,

an affluent community

and a suburb

and I wonder why

they all nod

in knowing unison
