A boy will look at your body,
A man can see your soul,
he knows you have much more to offer,
with you, he can grow
A boy wants to spend the night or two,
But a man wants to share your life,
A boy hunts for a "piece,"
a man yearns for peace and tranquility in a wife.
A boy will leave you insecure,
when you wonder where he is,
with a man you`re always reassured
because he takes care of his.
A boy will hear you
A man will listen to you share ideals
of your feminine mentality
A boy will enjoy just physical chemistry
which implants temporary companionship
A man appreciates more than just biology
Which embodies the epitome of what I need to see;
I know you diggin’ me! "lol"
A boy chooses snacks over meals, and as a result
loses his appetite in a quest for digestion
A man will settle for a main course,
maintaining a balanced diet,
and will not skip a beat waiting for that dessert
Boys can give you moments, a man can bring memories,
He values things like trust, and in you, he will believe.
Since then, I`ve learned to change my ways, for reasons few can understand,
I used to be your boy, but now, I want to be your man.
