Nobody understands me
Nobody tries to see it my way
they all suffer from
their preconceived notions.
They never wanna give me
a chance to explain.

Nobody knows what’s going on
inside this old head of mine
everyone wants to neatly
package me into a box
of their own definition.
Nobody understands me
no matter how I try
I try so hard to get
my point across but alas
it’s all to no avail
No one listens to me.
Nobody understands me
or all the thoughts in my head
No one knows what goes on
in my heart and in my soul
No one cares anyway
no matter what I say or do

U just painted the human condition. Nobody listens to anyone (unless they are paying for the time). And then it is without respect when they speak, if at all - you are not worth their time, unless you're paying. We glorify humanity and the humanities, faith, love, charity - the biggest hits - but we can't seem to all do it at the same time. Pity? You just hit the megajackpot. Humans. Not for the squeamish!
