We bask in the little things
to avoid dealing. the major tasks
we assign elsewhere. We are
delegators.

Insurities notwithstanding,
we are a shy bunch of humans
clawing up the dirt as we
wander around managing.

Still, to pick up a rusted nail
and recycle it has some meritorious
seal of approval. Just not today
and, apparently, not yesterday either.
