The glass was bumped and beer was spilled
onto a book about Shane McGowan
a volume of poems by Bukowski.
This is pretty much akin
to spilling a 40 on the curb.
It's a beautiful moment
between bartender and drunk
& yes, I have been informed
in prior lessons
that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
