Completed Poems

The flame is choked

Left without access

To its precious fuel

The pure air

Freely flowing

Strangled

Its smoky remnants

Float upwards

Twisting

Then dissipating

Into the air

Leaving only a faint hint

Of a smell

That shortly glorifies

Its once great light
