a pretzel fight with my friends

I like it when the fun never ends

the sleepovers where we laugh a lot

friends swearing to forget me not

those are the good times



hanging out just talking about anything

sharing the world with each other everything

swapping stories back and forth about the past

the times that we share will always seem to last

they are my sunshine



being whoever we are never having to worry

about being judged or made fun of we are free

laughing so hard that we can't breathe anymore

this is when you realize what friends are really for

and these are the friends that last forever



I find myself every time I'm with them

I am always my true self once again

happy times we will never let go

no matter what happens I'll always know

that when I was with them I was me
