LOVE

Love we have been waiting

Patiently and impatiently

To end all our misery

Looking for you in the essence

Of our existence

Searching for your endless meaning

For the bases previously built

To start our building blocks

To re-establish our shattered place

In the shade of many faces

We lost the trace

Consume to survive

We did not realize

Couldn’t recognize

You’re here

You’re there

You’re everywhere

You’re in our hearts

The sentiment of your poem is both
eternal and universal:

"Consume to survive
We did not realize
Couldn’t recognize
You’re here
You’re there
You’re everywhere
You’re in our hearts"

Perhaps Rumi read your poem
before you where wrote yours
and pened a reply long before
you where born, for he said:

I am here, this moment, inside the beauty,
the gift God has given,
our love:
This gold and cicular sign
means we are free of any duty:
out of eternity
I turn my face to you, and into
eternity:
We have been in
love that long. ~ Rumi
