Best Friends

They say, that you loose all the friends you made, back in High school.
They say most of them go there seperate ways, and contact fades away.
They say that emails, slow to a stop, and yahoo chats are long gone.
They say that phone numbers get changed, and yours gets lost again.

They say facebook, lets you find them again, but sometimes, they dont accecpt your invite.
They say they will get on, yet there status says offline.

They say you end up forgeting, the ones you spent those long drama filled years with.
They say there faces, change, and you wont reconize them, even if you tryed.

I dont belive that, your going to loose all the friends you made, back in the school years.
I dont think that, you'll keep in contact with them all.
I think ill keep in contact with a few, i know ill keep in contact with my best friend steff.
Iv been friends with her since i moved here 6 years ago.

We met back in middle school, our 6th grade year.
Wow cant belive that was such a long time ago.
But time hasnt changed a thing, differant classes has made us seperate,
Busy nights of hard homework, and studying for tests, hasnt broken us apart.
Boys havent been a reason to fight, and stop talking.

We always get threw, everything just me n you.
No matter what happens, we have each other,
No matter how many friends we have, we are only each others best friends.

Nobody rippes us apart, and we made a vow, to stay this way,
to keep our closeness.
To keep the secorts, to keep the promises, to keep the memeorys, and keep the good and bad times.

We are going to stay in contact, and talk every week, Travel to vist on birthdays,weddings, and aniversarys.
We promise to email,chat, IM and web cam. We are going to friend on facebook, once i finally get one.
We are going to have numbers, and call when we can. Texting when its late, and we need our best friend.
We are going to send birthday cards, and pictures of our loves. We are going to hang out, and laugh aloud.

We swear, we promise, we will do this, we will keep our friendship going strong,
we know it.

Cause we are best friends for life, and graduating isnt a reason, to stop it,
