All the wrong cards, taken
All the wrong turns, made
All the wrong friends, thought
All the wrong things, or

Maybe, in life I've had

All the right luck, made
All the right choices, left
All the right people, ponder
All the right thoughts, or

In life, maybe I've been

Both lucky and unlucky,
Both right and wrong,
Both befriended and abandoned,
Both thoughtful and foolish,

Maybe, in life I've faced
Good and bad, and will again
