i think all countries around the world have their share of the good and the bad, the right and wrong. A very brief and straight forward poem, but I don't think you all have to be damned for having a mixture of qualities in most of your citizens.
Diamond...you have captured the core constituent of every huamn being here, not just Americans...but it is true that Americans are arriving at this enlightenment about themselves right now. The transition will take years. Many will not make it.
This is what the "big ascension" everyone was talking about in 2012 is about. Only after being enlightened of our frailties and "wrongness", can we obtain the power needed to change it for the better and improve.
