Perfect Life.

Is there any such thing?

As a perfect life?

Have we ever colored perfectly inside the lines?

Have we ever been unblind to an idea?

Is every new day not another day to screw up?

Don't we all make mistakes?

People make it seem that this world is perfect.

They say it is perfect,

As long as you take away the rape,

the sin,

the abuse,

the greed,

the hate,

and the need to exterminate everything that the "Bible" calls a sin.

The truth is there is no such thing as a perfect world.

No such thing as a perfect life.

Well, at least not until we die.

Does this make sense to anybody out there? I have no clue what I'm writing here...

Thank you for this.

Recently I've been really obsessed with having a "perfect" life, a life where I've gotten everything I've ever dreamed or wanted. So I've been really down about the fact that I'm nowhere near that goal. But this poem, this right here is exactly what I needed to read. This is the truth, nothing and nobody is perfect, everything is flawed.

Thanks for sharing this.

You're welcome! I was once

You're welcome! I was once obssessed about having the "perfect life" but that is not possible because a perfect life does not exist, nor will it ever (at least not in this lifetime.)

Thanks for the comment!

Sincerely,

K.J.A.
