Plead Of a Hurt Man

Here I am again, all alone,

I shouldn't have done this to you,

The pain I put in your heart,

And all the things I put you through.

But I suffer, drowning in my own tears,

Cause I'm not holding you in my arms,

Loneliness is now taking control,

There is nothing to keep me from harm.

My lonely lies were what broke your heart,

But now it's those lonely lies that break mine,

Cause the tears that smothers my eyes,

May just be a simple sign.

I curl up into the corner,

And put my hand upon my heart,

It is the only thing I have,

To keep me from falling apart.

The picture of us is next to me,

The hair ribbon you use to wear,

The piece of shirt that I accidentally tore,

There were so many things that we would share.

Swinging in the park where your smile was refulgent,

And the time we went swimming in the pool,

We would do so many things together,

But now I am considered as a lovers fool.

So now I'm writing this sorrow,

Just so I can keep halfwy sain,

Cause living without you,

Is going to drive me completly insane.

Nods...indeed so heartwrenching , this poem... I like how u start off the work, the mixed and tumultous feelings of a man whose heart is torn and broken... ..And the way u develop the entire poem is so flowing and read so emotionally, that i am drawn to it...as always. Smilesz... Great words, Tommy... U know that i always enjoy your pieces.. Smilesz.
