The Abacus

Other song lyrics

How can we start learning, when the learning curve is straight?
An abacus left burning, counting all mistakes we make.
They`ll strip you down, tie you up and start the fire.
Witches keep on burning, holes in pockets never tire.

Who do you call when you need them?
Were they willing to provide?
Who`s trust are you stealing?
May these answers be hard to find.

When will you start listening to the sounds that rape your ears?
Because in these things there`s freedom,
And without that you`d dissapear.
They`ll dress you up, cut the cord and quench the fire.
Maybe you`ll stop needing when things in life can take you higher.

Who do you call when you need them?
Were they willing to provide?
Who`s trust are you stealing?
May these answers be hard to find.
