Creativity suddenly sparks
the otherwise dreary day
because the practice of poetry.
Words cast significance.
Vast imaginative wishes
bring you to the silver gate
which presents earthly awe
and a gaping gaze.
The bright yellow desert
and endless horizon spine
as hawks grace the sky,
a flock of spread wings,
sedates the simple brain.
