Welcome.  

The eleven poems gathered here navigate the precarious landscapes of the human spirit when pushed to its limits. They delve into the heart of my despair, the weight of systemic indifference, and the profound ache of potential loss; yet, they also listen for the fainter frequencies of hope, the stubborn and often dangerous spark of hope, and the enduring power of love and legacy.  

This collection charts a journey — not always linear and often raw — from the direct cry of a soul in crisis to more fragmented, imagistic explorations of a fractured self. It witnesses the evolution of voice and form as a means of grappling with overwhelming realities, seeking solace, and ultimately wrestling with the choice to endure.  

From structured verse to free-form laments and contrapuntal dialogues, these poems invite you to bear witness to the echoes left by a life at the threshold and the faint, persistent starfire of what might yet be.  

To best appreciate this journey, I suggest reading the poems in the following order, so you may also see the refinement and subtle, nuanced changes in style, tone, and techniques, as I did.
