A ringing phone breaks my thought

My ex on the phone sayin he's glad he finnally caught

Up with me

Hoping I see

His side and give him another chance

Just one glance

At his picture on the wall

Makes me want to fall

Into his arms cause his words sound

So sweet to me

That I almost forget him beating me

Is it a shame

That my mind

Finds

The violence we shared

Hoping he said he'd never do it again because he cared

And not because I had the police on speed dial

Still waiting for my answer on the line

As I boldly say you're not worth my time

I finally feel like this life is mine
