Wonder where we went wrong
I sit here on my front porch and listen to the birds chime
And just hum a little song
I wonder to myself
"How do i say good-bye?
Where have these years gone
Why did our love die?
The times we had together
The evenings were long
The nights were great
But how do i say good-bye?
These feelings are still strong
My heart says hold on
Where is this pain that hurts
Where do i belong?
I see ur smile
My world turns upside down
When will you come around?
I just sit around and ask myself
How do i say good-bye

Goodbye Grandma

You lived alone
in the end. The kids
gone, the grand kids out
in the world going
crazy.
.
It was a quiet life.
You did not ask for more
than a kitchen and food
to cook, a cat, a dog,
a house to keep.
.
Goodbye Grandmama,
we will be reunited soon
as I am a grandma too.
The earth will swallow us
and together we will beocme
the new world's glue.
