High School

I have left so many things in my eyes,

and I have seen so many advances fall down to die.

It doesn't phase me that my plan didn't work,

it just caught me off guard you didn't feel the hurt.

black hearts

where the hatred starts

forever's too long to wait for forgiveness

Caucasion ideals left a stain on me,

scarlett letter displayed for the world to see.

I left comfort in my matress when the heat set in,

and I was disillousioned by the temptations of sin.

bleeding hearts

where the loneliness starts

forever's too long to wait for forgiveness

Author's Notes/Comments:

And yet, even more high school poetry! I don't like all of this one, jst a few lines, but I cannot figure out any other way to work the lines I do like into a poem that is satisfying all 'round. Oh well.

actually, i really liked it. i was going to ask you if you wrote it long ago,or if you wrote it after READING poems of long ago, but then you answered my questions.
(this is not meant in anyway bad you've always been a good writer -the best- you just definately have certain styles pertaining to certain times in your life.)
i really liked it. good job.
