Temper, Temper

Folder:
American Ritual

Confusion hit the airwaves
Scattered people, Scattered brains,
Cattleprod these loyalistics
Make them scared, but you'll seem sane,
Sirens alarm but subside
when we realize the light outside blinds,

Wish upon radiation,
All hands, Battlestations,
You know the drill
Temper, Temper
We're a tempest
We're a menace
You're a wreck
such a cynic,
Let them know their faults,
Recall their weaknesses,
In another life
make them pay for them,

The seas a misstress
A foul beast bent on reign,
Before it's over we'll all be swallowed,
And in the guts we hear,

"Thank you dear, come again"
She'll repeat it and come crashing in,

If I had the constitution
Rest assured our absolution
would be procured,

When we have had enough
We'll hang it up,
Wash our hands
and ring the dinner bell
There's a million other caskets
that won't show up,
they didn't get so lucky to hear
the bell,

to tell a tale

we all know so well,

Rest in fire
Rest in hell
