Perfect Beauty

Folder:
Wildlife/Nature

Long and lean,

she stands so tall.

Vibrant in hue,

she pleases all.

Her crimson color,

is like a darkened blush.

With a heady aroma,

that gives you a rush.

A soft and silky surface,

she glides through your fingertips.

As you inhale her scent,

she brushes against your lips.

Even though she's gentle,

you should be forewarned.

Handle her the wrong way,

and she'll cut you with her thorns.

Nature's perfect beauty,

as everybody knows.

Standing in a crystal vase,

a single, long-stemmed rose.
