Christ, You have entered my soul like a barefoot

shepherd come at once to bring

the stray to the flock:  this expression's

sense, meant spiritually, is how I put

words to the first experience of Salvation;

nor shall sin receive any further concessions,

as I am always becoming nearer

to You---and the vision of You always becoming clearer:

the Presence of You, the Christ, my Lord, Savior, and King.
