If Loneliness Was A Whisper (Repeat)

"Poem Highlights"

If loneliness was a whisper I would be the only one to hear.

Amongst a crowd, within a group, speaking with a stranger I'd hear it's troubled voice.

It blows carefully gravid with solitude.

A mixture of feelings boil up inside me with no one to take heed.

Broken breaths caress my body if loneliness was a whisper.

Author's Notes/Comments:

Sometimes loneliness can eat you alive. I know because that's what happened to me. Here is a poem that I think reflects not only me, but for everyone as well. I think in each of us, there's a sort of loneliness that's always waiting to be experienced. Loneliness is a whisper we strain to hear. We try to understand what it's trying to say. Once we do, sometimes you feel as if you're the only one heard it and others didn't. They didn't hear the whisper loneliness tries to communicate. All you can feel is to feel alone.

Sometimes loneliness can most definitely eat you up alive, and it can make you feel so depressed to the point of something that can make you do the unthinkable!! Loneliness is something that I experience every single day of my life, and it can be very devastating to have that feeling when you're alone, and that is why I often write out as much as I can to let out what I have in my head, so it won't be there to be like loneliness and to eat me up alive. This is a great piece that is brilliant and perfectly well-written!!
