Confetti Snowflakes

Glittering snow with an aritificial air,

I'm showered by lots of confetti snowflakes,

a meloncholy of others's past despair.

This sythetic material covers the earthly ground

forming abundant artificial, chilly frost

making wintry aggregations of snowflake mounds.

But everyone, despair is aritificial, sorrow is man-made.

In truth, we make our own heartaching sorrows

looking us appear that we'll never me saved.

I beg you.  Please!  Don't do this.

Don't let sorrow block your life's path.

Persevere!  You'll get it!  You'll have the gist...

that our sorrows are just confetti snowflakes

even when we produce sometimes at endless amounts

we can clear them with our trusty brooms all away...

Author's Notes/Comments:

I noticed that during my time here at the Postpoems site there's been a lot of "sorrow" filled poetry going around.  There's nothing wrong with expressing that feeling.  There's nothing wrong with it at all because I experience these things too.  But I wrote this piece to those people out there who feel like everything is lost.  It's not too late, you know.  Sorrow is something man-made.  It's a "confetti snowflake" that builds up.  Sometimes it builds up to unnecessary amounts that it's overwhelming, you know?  That you can't handle it.  There are people out there who feel this way...  This poem, hopefully, will encourage you to keep going.  To keep struggling.  This poem is meant to any of you out there who feel like it's "basically over."  That all you can feel is sorrow.  But, there has to be a time when you have to move on.  You have to pick up the pieces and keep going.  That's life...  Always know that... and keep this poem in mind.
