Full Moon [O Sagashite]

I find myself wandering in the midst of the night

then tired collapsing against the wall I turn to sleep.

A figure sitting next to me I dream later.  Somewhat vague.

I thought it was "you" perhaps but instead I awake to see that full Moon.

Drawing up and huddled in a corner, I watch it stroll the sky slowly.

Though I feel stricken with loneliness tonight,

my intuition tells me the Moon was smiling at me.

Why?  Because I thought of you.  I haven't forgotten, as promised.

These silent thoughts call out through the ages,

despite how cold it may be, even shivering to the soul.

The smiles we once shared, all those moments are enough

to warm my heart's furnace and finally my body.

Is it possible the smile of the Moon has materialized the ones from then?

A reflection?  Or is it the imagination of mine?

However so, the tear drop traveling on my cheek,

although the first shed, I smile knowing it'll be my last.

And as a part of me fades away at least I thought of you,

even though likewise you've forgotten.

When I first saw the title, I was like, "That must be the song lyric to Brandy's song called, 'Full Moon'!!" But as it turns out, it was just a lovely piece that was written by you!! You have a natural talent of writing things down with the words that makes people feel inspired!! =)
