Mannequin

The Pied Pipers of the urban Metro

The mannequin;slender,stiff,pink coloured,waxen

Smooth and shiny , glossy, perfect shape

Passers by, window shoppers pause and gape

Pretty designer dress draped on the mannequin

Tall,grecian featured He Man;slim waist,broad chest

To the dark skinny streetwalker seemed to jest

Looks at the zippered jacket and denim jeans

Digs into his purse and spends beyond his means

Returns home ,wears the clothes just purchased

What he saw in the mirror left him amazed

"What a transformation! I feel like a prince!"

The special evening out he wore the dress

Longing for someone whose looks would caress

His breathing body ;thoughts of the mannequin etched

He thought and tried to be the one at the shop window

Miserably failed in the act ; none stared at him

Thoughts went for a sixer hit by a willow Laughing

Thanks so much for your appreciation & truth about the color.Truthfully, I never had anything particular in mind while selecting the colour. Maybe I'll change it Mr Daniel.Smile
