Sound of drums beating in my chest
Feeling lonesome and weary having travelled so far
Looking for a place to rest a while
A place where there'll be a cool stream flowing
Maybe a scanty wooden bench with a back rest
I'd love to gaze at the stream.. listen to its gurgling
Maybe I'll close my tired eyes for a while
My senses will guide me to unknown realms
The beating of the drums of stress will gradually cease
I'll have a feeling of peace & tranquility amidst
The woody forest.. maybe infested with bugs,insects
But surely not as deadly as a killer affliction
Which strike the unfortunate ones on Earth
The bugs'll bite, my limbs'll be swollen & itchy
No insect cream I carried with me on that spring
I became one with nature,I felt calm & serene
My revelry ended in an hour or so...
I was back to my dreary den haunted by bipeds
Inside and out they bite & prick drawing heart-blood
But there is no escape !!! Alas the calmness I miss !

I very much enjoyed this, I too would prefer to be in a woodland with insects, rather than struggling through all the bipeds.

The leeches who suck our ambrosia
Makes us into mere machines only
to be born and die leaving behind
nothing but a handful of stupid words
The world is waiting for the Swatter
For whom only real values matter
