The Dodo
Was a cumbersome bird, heavy, small wings, no ability to fly and escape predators. Other birds are lithe and often on flights of fantasy escaping all who wish to capture an Island bound spirit. Indomitable, but not cumbersome. Limber. Agile. And alert. Glad to see a new post - shewhowritesanddoesnotknowhowtomean (cucumbersome - a vegetable with attitude) :D
